Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Generatrix, LLC, a Florida limited liability company based in Tampa, Florida, which operates this site. “We”, “us”, and “our” mean Generatrix, LLC.
By using this site or its valuation calculator you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
What this service is
This site offers an educational valuation estimate and related written material. The calculator applies general market conventions to figures you supply and returns a range, together with an explanation of the factors that move a business within that range. It is a starting point for understanding how buyers think, and nothing more than that.
Valuation disclaimer
Estimates produced by this site are directional only. They do not constitute a formal appraisal, a fairness opinion, or investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice, and they do not create an advisory, fiduciary, brokerage, or client relationship between you and us.
No estimate should be relied on for transaction pricing, for setting an asking price, for financial reporting, for tax or regulatory filings, for litigation, or for any other decision with material consequences. A real transaction price depends on which buyers participate, what they can do with the business specifically, how the deal is structured, and what due diligence finds. None of that is knowable from the inputs this calculator uses.
The estimate is generated from figures you provide and is only as accurate as they are. We do not verify them.
No warranty
The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any estimate or article is complete, current, or correct.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill, or data, arising from your use of or reliance on this site, its calculator, or its content, whether or not we were advised such damages were possible.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Acceptable use
You may use the calculator and the educational content for your own informational purposes, including within your own business. You may not:
- scrape, crawl, harvest, or use automated means to extract the content or the calculator’s outputs;
- resell, redistribute, republish, or make the content or outputs available as part of another product or service;
- attempt to derive, reconstruct, or reverse engineer the underlying valuation methodology;
- interfere with the operation or security of the site, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it;
- submit information that is unlawful, or that belongs to someone else without their permission.
Intellectual property
The site, its written content, its design, and the valuation methodology behind the calculator remain ours. Nothing here transfers ownership or grants a licence beyond the personal, informational use described above. The estimate produced from your own figures is, of course, yours to use as you see fit, subject to the disclaimer above.
Your submissions
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for having the right to provide it. Information you submit is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Our articles sometimes cite outside sources. We do not control those sites, are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and citing a source is not an endorsement of it.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time, and may update these terms as the service develops. Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law and venue
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this site, are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. You and Generatrix, LLC agree that the state and federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida, are the exclusive venue for any such dispute, and each of us consents to those courts’ jurisdiction.
This does not take away rights you hold under the law of the place where you live. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction whose law gives you protections that cannot be waived by agreement, those protections continue to apply to you.
Severability and entire agreement
If any part of these terms is held unenforceable, that part is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest remains in force. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about this site. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.
